  • What’s included in the headshot package?
    Our headshot package is simple, clear, and designed to give you the best results. Here’s what’s included: • 90 Minute Private Studio Experience – A relaxed, one-on-one session where we focus entirely on capturing your best headshots. • 3 Retouched Headshots – You’ll receive three professionally edited images that are polished but still look natural. • 3 Lighting Setups – We’ll adjust the lighting to create different moods and styles, giving you variety in your shots. • 3 Outfit Changes – We recommend bringing at least three different outfits to showcase different looks and character types. • Professional Guidance – We’ll help with posing, expressions, and making sure you feel comfortable in front of the camera. • Fast Turnaround – After the shoot on the same day, you’ll be able to review and select your favourite images conveniently online. • Additional Retouches (£30 Each) – If you’d like more images retouched, you can purchase them separately. Everything is tailored to help actors and actresses get standout headshots that make an impression!
  • How do you handle payment?
    When you book your shoot online you will be required to pay a £50 deposit to secure your spot on our calendar. This can be paid via credit or debit card. The remaining balance will be required once you have finished the shoot at our studio. This can be paid via cash, credit or debit card, or bank transfer.
  • Can I cancel or amend my booking?
    Yes. We understand that circumstances may arise that require you to cancel or reschedule your appointment. To do so please contact us with 48 hours notice and we will be happy to change your booking or refund your deposit! 48+ hours notice : Free reschedule or refund Between 24 and 48 hours notice : Deposit is non-refundable / Reschedule at an additional 25% of the cost of the original deposit (£12.50) Between 4 and 24 hours notice : Deposit is non-refundable / Reschedule at an additional 50% of the cost of the original deposit (£25.00) Less than 4 hours notice : Non-refundable & No rescheduling discount In the event that you do not attend your appointment or fail to make contact at least 4 hours before your scheduled time, no refund or amendment can be offered. Any cancellations made through any other form of communication will not be valid. We reserve the right to cancel any booking without notice if we believe that the booking has been made fraudulently or unlawfully. In the event that we cancel a booking, we will provide a refund of any funds paid.
  • How do I prepare & what should I bring to my session?
    • Upon booking, we will email you our Pre-Shoot pack, which contains all the information you need to make the most of your shoot day, including wardrobe, makeup, and hair tips. • Wardrobe: Bring outfits that flatter your skin tone and fit well. Solid colours work best—avoid busy patterns, logos, or anything too flashy. We suggest bringing more clothing than you need to give yourself a range of outfit choices. • Grooming: Keep your hair natural to how you’d typically wear it for auditions. If you style your hair differently often, consider bringing tools or products for quick adjustments. • Makeup: If you’re doing your own makeup, keep it light and natural. Avoid heavy foundation, overly bold eyeliner, or excessive contouring. A professional makeup artist can be booked if needed. • Skincare: Stay hydrated, moisturise, and avoid excessive sun exposure in the days leading up to your shoot. Get a good night’s sleep to reduce puffiness. • Mindset: Relax and come ready to have fun! We’ll guide you through posing and expressions to make sure you get shots that feel natural and true to you.
  • What are the make up & hair arrangements?
    At Aperture Lounge, we have a hair & makeup station where you can bring your own makeup & tools to touch up your look throughout the shoot. We can also provide hair tools such as straighteners and curlers if needed.
  • When can I expect to receive my images?
    After your photoshoot, you will receive a same day email containing a link to your sessions photographs. Once you have selected your images we will then proceed to retouch your selected photographs and send them to you within 3 days. Please note that during busy periods, there may be rare occurrences where delivery times may be longer.
  • Can I purchase extra images & retouching after the shoot?
    Yes, you can purchase extra after the shoot! We store all our session's images for 90 days. During this time, you can purchase additional retouched images for £30 each, or three for £75. Once you've selected your additional photographs, we will proceed with our retouching process and send them to you within 3 days. Please note that during busier periods, there may be rare occurrences where delivery times may be longer.
  • What happens if I'm late to my appointment?
    We will do our best to accommodate extra time for late arrivals. However, we cannot guarantee this. The amount of extra time we can offer will depend on how late you are and how busy we are. Please be aware that we are not obligated to give any extra time outside of your appointment timeslot, so we strongly encourage you to arrive on time to ensure you get the most out of your session!
  • Is there parking available?
    Yes, there is free on-road parking outside on Aylmer Road from 2pm onwards. Alternatively there is 3-hour free parking available at Tesco Supermarket ( E11 1HT, 4 min walk ) Customers who park at these locations do so at their own risk. Aperture Lounge will not be held responsible for any damage, loss, or theft that may occur to your vehicle. We recommend taking all necessary precautions to ensure the safety and security of your vehicle while it is parked.
